OUR HISTORY
The idea of the Social Kitchen "The Other Man" started when we saw in the popular markets of Athens, people of all ages, nationalities and social strata, looking for garbage to collect food that they could no longer buy.
The first almost obvious action was to cook food from our home and distribute it to the people. We asked the producers to give us a product from their counter to continue the next day.
We decided to cook the food live in the world, eating together, to get closer and to break the shame that people probably felt when we shared cooked food with them.
We cook live, we all eat together and we all live together!
A meal with our fellow human beings on the street.
Come with us to make our daily life more beautiful!
The "Other Man" is not a charity where the most favored help the afflicted. It is a self-managed action, where those who participate are favored. Everyone is equal around the pot, cooking together and eating the same food and let them be different in every way.
But in order for a cooking to take place, it has already been preceded by a mobilization of other people, who made the action known to their friends, to their children's school, to the sports club in their area, to the neighborhood bar, to their colleagues. Then some other people organized an event, some contacted it on Facebook, designed a poster, organized a party, a concert, a show, invited their acquaintances. Some other people, went to the event and offered items & food along with other goodies that were loaded on them by some other people who help from a distance.
This creates an interaction, communication and mobilization of different people and specialties that ultimately work together for a common purpose. Be good to themselves and feel useful.
You have a benefit. The profit of participating in the social kitchen activities of the "other person" in whatever way you choose is much greater than filling a few stomachs with food.
You train your mind trying to find new ideas, discover your hidden skills and meet new people.
This is exactly the goal of the other person, to be done by other people, groups, collectives in every neighborhood !!
Because this pimple, this grain of sand that is the Other Man is more than nothing, than not doing something for yourself, yourself.
So if a lot of grains of sand are collected we will hope to make a better world, with better people, social, without racism and fascism and consequently a better society, so that we and our children can live better.
Come into the company of the Other Man, first for you ... and then for the others.

Δωρεάν φαγητό για όλους σε διάφορα σημεία της χώρας καθώς και συγκέντρωση ρουχισμού, παιχνιδιών και ειδών πρώτης ανάγκης για όσους τα χρειάζονται.

ΕΡΓΑΣΙΑ
Βοηθάμε όσους προσφέρουν ή αναζήτουν εργασία να έρθουν σε επαφή. Άνθρωποι με κοινά ενδιαφέροντα βρίσκονται και δημιουργούν.

ΥΠΟΣΤΗΡΙΞΗ
Δωρεάν νομικές συμβουλές.
Ιδιωτικές συνεδρίες από την ψυχολόγο του Άλλου Ανθρώπου.
- Κατόπιν τηλεφωνικού ραντεβού,
μια φορά τον μήνα.

ΥΓΕΙΑ
Η συνεργασία μας με κοινωνικά ιατρεία και φαρμακεία μας δίνει την δυνατότητα για άμεσα τηλεφωνικά ραντεβού για θέματα υγείας.

ΜΑΘΗΣΗ
Ενισχυτική διδασκαλία παρέχεται δωρεάν από εθελοντές 2 φορές την εβδομάδα, σε ανθρώπους που δεν έχουν την δυνατότητα να σπουδάσουν τα παιδιά τους.

ΘΕΑΤΡΟ
Η θεατρική ομάδα του Άλλου Ανθρώπου έχει τη δυνατότητα να παραδίδει μαθήματα υποκριτικής από ηθοποιό και σκηνοθέτη ώστε να ανεβαίνουν διάφορες παραστάσεις.
